Speed Services AB acquires European Locker and Travel Services AB (ELTS)

On February 8, 2019, Speed Services AB acquired 100% of the shares in European Locker and Travel Services AB. For over 60 years, Speed Services has played an important role in the area of automated services in public areas in the Nordic Region. Speed Services AB is together with Speed Identity AB a part of the Speed International Group.

Speed Services is a mayor player in the Nordic Region in the area of photo booths, luggage lockers, digital signage, self-service terminals, and Wi-Fi solutions for public areas. The company is currently established with its own organizations and service personnel in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Latvia. The company’s headquarters are in Tyreso, outside of Stockholm, Sweden. Speed Services largest customers are Jernhusen, SL, SAS, Swedavia, Copenhagen Airport, Rom Eiendom, Coop, ICA, and Steen & Ström, among others. With the acquisition of ELTS, Speed Services will strengthen its already strong position in the Nordics.

ELTS is a well-established supplier of storage solutions with establishments in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Poland and Spain. The company possesses a great deal of expertise within the area of luggage lockers and has reference customers such as Bane NOR, Liseberg, Parks & Resorts Scandinavia, Tivoli, Stena Line, Viking Line, and Matkahuolto, to name a few.

Both companies are currently in a strong expansion phase and will complement each other well and benefit greatly from each other’s long history and experience within the field of luggage lockers.

Through the acquisition, Speed Services will be a larger and more comprehensive supplier, which through a continued focus on service and innovation will be able to deliver even better storage solutions to our customers throughout the Nordic market in the future.
